Hi all! It’s been awhile since we have reached out as there has been a reorganization of the Beautification Committee. We are writing to note that this website is being shut down for the Salem Beautification Committee purposes and will now be used by Keep Salem Beautiful, under a new domain. The BComm website will now reside at: https://www.salemma.gov/536/Beautification-Committee
If you would like to remain subscribed due to interest in the litter cleanups, please feel free as we (KSB) are still discussing how to best use this space. All future litter cleanups via BComm are now cancelled and will be handled by Keep Salem Beautiful. As a result several members have left to join KSB. The last for 2025 was held today on the bike path and we will release the 2026 scheduling in the coming month, starting up again in either February or March.
If you are interested more in gardening please unsubscribe and follow Beautification Committee social media, or reach out via the new website. BComm also has many member openings so if you would like to volunteer in the gardens and be a member to help serve in an administrative capacity as well you can reach out to Michael Corley via the above website or call City Hall to be redirected.
Competitions are on hold going forward, unless advertised otherwise.

I’m so sorry but I think I’m misunderstanding the email. So I will keep being notified about the cleanups from this email or is it that this is shutting down and I need to signup somewhere else for the cleanup emails?

Hi Lindsay! If your interest is in cleanups you can remain subscribed. There will be no more gardening updates here. I hope that clears it up!
